The 2026-2027 Magnolia Project MS Book Scholarship Application
We are giving out $1000 scholarships to five (5) Black female high school seniors looking to further their education. We hope this scholarship alleviates the financial burden of seeking a higher education and emboldens our recipients to chase their dreams.

The Magnolia project mS
The Magnolia Project is a love project. It is a passion project. It is the accumulation of the love of Black womanhood in every iteration of its being. It is the facilitation of allowing Black women and girls to not wear resilience as a badge, and to cherish their humanity as a result. The Magnolia Project is committed to giving Black women and girls the permission and audacity to heal and become the Magnolias that rose from The Third Coast. The Magnolia Project grounds its practices in Black Feminist Theory and a Whole Child Approach, understanding that children are able to reach their full potential when they are taken care of emotionally, physically, and given a safe yet secure environment that encourages creativity and independent thinking, especially as Black women and girls; furthermore, we want to assert the importance of acknowledging and removing our internalized biases (classism, racism, sexism, etc.) as mentors and creators of this program, for it is important to practice introspection in our community-building and world-building.
